Our story in Chippewa Falls

Rutledge Home & Dove Healthcare

With community roots that reach back more than a century, the Rutledge name is woven into Chippewa Falls. The residence at 300 Bridgewater Avenue opened as a home for older adults in 1913 and later evolved with changing care needs and state licensing.

In 2004, Dove Healthcare began stewarding the property. After renovations, Dove Healthcare — Rutledge Home reopened in 2007 as an assisted living residence, later expanding memory care. Historic woodwork, the library, dining room, and fireplaces remain part of the character families notice on a tour.

Today the community provides assisted living and memory care overlooking Irvine Park, with access to Dove Healthcare’s broader clinical and therapy resources when needed.
